Amerrycan is Britain’s award-winning American theatre company, devoted to showcasing the vitality of American drama in intimate productions. From classics to contemporary drama, we stage American works seldom seen in Yorkshire and create opportunities for new artists to develop their industry skills.
We're now planning our 2025 season, including a radical retelling of the Edward Albee classic, 'The Zoo Story'.
We've been bringing theatre to the world since 2001, both American classics and experimental new works in venues across the UK, Europe and the USA.
We always welcome new 'Amerrycans' who want to celebrate art, life and be part of a growing community group.
